RECENT NEWS

Our Board of Directors and Staff are disappointed that the Ontario Government made the decision to close all golf courses effective April 17th. Everyone was looking forward to an early start to the season but understand the importance of a safe and healthy community. The staff were set to open the club by May 10th (weather permitting). If the closure stays the same, the club’s opening will only be delayed by 10 days. We are confident that the “We Are Golf” team will continue to communicate with the government in an appropriate manner to have them fully understand the benefits of having golf open as a recreational option. Golf is an important outlet and the “We Are Golf” organization will continue to make this case with the hope that Ontario courses are able to open as soon as possible.

Thank you to everyone who have supported the club over the years. This year we have some new events planned and look forward to a fantastic 2021 season. Our staff are preparing the course for play as soon as we are given the authorization to open. For information on 2021 Membership rates or updates on the opening, please check the website or call the club’s number (705 856 7409) and we will be happy to answer any questions you have.

We are looking for a responsible person to join our Pro Shop team. If you or someone you know is interested, please forward a resume along with a brief introduction to our email address. ( wawagolfcourse@gmail.com )

Stay tuned and once again,

Thank you.
